its been a long time (BE)coming

I picked up my guitar last week to rehearse for an upcoming show, and a new song literally fell out of me. Easy three chord progression with a strong 4/4 beat but it wasn’t the energy, it was the authenticity of it that caught me off guard. This idea of becoming, of changing and evolving into the artist I’ve always resisted was finally emerging-bold, confident, and missing my one true love-music. The easiness and positive sound of the song is a reflection of who I’ve become. Its been a long time (be)coming, but I’ve finally arrived.
